Image analysis is one of the most difficult problems for machine intelligence due to required robustness to variations in scale, rotation, and lighting in the identification of images. This patent from Boston Scientific teaches a method of combining different types of image classifiers based on Bayesian, neural networks, etc. to improve image classification for machines. Claim 1 reads:

1. A method for generating a dynamic classified image, comprising:

applying a plurality of different classifiers to an input image, wherein each of the plurality of classifiers produces a classified image based on the input image; and

sequentially displaying the classified images from the plurality of classifiers.
